strindberg noir is a show with two of august strindberg's most well known one-act plays: "the stronger" and "paria". strindberg scrutinize his fellows mercilessly. racket, moral ambiguity, infidelity and sudden death are factors that play major roles in the performance strindberg noir.

story the voluble mrs x and the taciturn mrs y meet at a coffee shop on christmans eve. during their conversation some well hidden secrets are revealed. despite that strindberg did not have any doubt about who ultimately walks away with the victory, a big part of the play's excitement lies in the uncertainty about who really is the stronger of the two. mr x and mr y are two fleeting acquaintances who both have a hidden and murky past. the two men are pitted against each other in a conversation where the friendly tone transforms whilst the truth comes to light. read more at strindberg noir's website
